3 BJW Forwards Commit to Boston University!

Monday, April 2, 2018, 1:00PM

Boston, MA - The Boston Junior Whalers would like to congratulate Jeremy Wilmer, John Copeland, and Liam Gorman on making their commitments to Boston University.

Wilmer, the first BJW '03 to make his college commitment, is an incredibly gifted playmaker with a strong skill set and an eye for the net.  Jeremy skates for the Long Island Gulls U16 Team, and has been a member of the Boston Junior Whalers '03 Elite Team since 2013.  He has helped the group to numerous championships over the years.

Copeland, a 1999-born defenseman turned forward, is a standout at Belmont Hill.  Copeland stands at 6'7" off the ice, and couple his physicality with incredible vision and a strong compete level.  Copeland's size makes him a strong pro prospect, and was an original member of our '99 Elite Team since back in 2012.

Gorman, a 2000-born dynamic forward, grew up playing for the East Coast Wizards and currently stars at St. Sebastian School.  Gorman was drafted in the 6th Round of the 2017 USHL Draft by the Chicago Steel, with whom he suited up in two games for this season at the conclusion of the prep school season this year.

Congratulations to Jeremy, John, Liam, and their families on this tremendous accomplishment in their hockey careers, and we will be watching closely as they begin their college careers!  Go Terriers!
